DVD Problem solved

Due to lack of space on my C drive, I have recently added another drive to my computer. I didn't install windows on it, just the DVD set of Baldur's gate.
To my amazement it didn't say that it could only be used in the USA and Canada as it did when I installed it on my hard drive, no patches, no nothing. It isn't buggy. It just plays. I even have Deder and company back in my party. So I am one happy bunny. Just thought I'd mention it in case there are others who had my problem with the set. It brings me to the conclusion that it is windows that is the problem, not the DVD set.
Anyone who has the same problem, just add another drive and it is solved.
