Emphatic Manifestation - Spoiler

I have a solo Fighter/Mage/Thief and I can`t heal the emphatic manifestation that attacks me because I have no healing powers. The healing spells that are in the Temple can`t be used by my character.
The EM seems to be unkillable.
What can I do?

Go recruit a cleric to heal the E.M., then dump'em.

If you had started in BG1 you would have a couple of healing spells, as well as a few other useful cleric's spells but since presumably you didn't you do have problems. You could copy your game into mpsave, create a cleric, do the healing and then delete the character. I cannot think of any other alternatives.

you have the healing spells even if you didn't complete BG1. But they are gone after a certain point.
Spoiler below
Iirc after Irenicus took away your soul in the asylem.
Secondly, you could get the gloves of healing.
Spoiler below for original location
You get them for completing the fallen paladin quest with returning the cup.

I`ll use shadowkeeper to cheat. There must be something I can use to get around this problem.
This is my first attempt at soloing.
I have an idea it might be my last!

Try one of the following. Not sure but anyway
1. If you're playing SoA + ToB, wait until 3 mln xp for the UAI ability.
2. If you're playing ONLY SoA, then try Remove Curse or a Lesser Restoration scroll.
This is all I can think of. You apparently chose a starting alignment Neutral or Evil. Either way, if you get lucky, you can have a Healing special ability as a part of your Bhaal powers. If you're stuck with two Laloch's minor drains however, then the only option if the scrolls don't work is really hiring a Cleric temporarily.
The gloves of healing are an option, but I am not sure if they can be worn if your alignment is Neutral or Evil.

The gloves can be worn by any character, or so tells their description. Don't cheat if you don't have to!

I don`t, usually - but my character couldn`t have made any further progress without an additional party member, which I didn`t want at this stage.
I got the gloves via Shadowkeeper - used them for that one job and then dumped them.

So I thought when I played a solo evil Monk on the original unmodded and unpatched game. Nope - he cannot wear them. Maybe the patches fix that and maybe there are really some classes or alignments which cannot use the gloves

Now why on earth are you doing this?
The gloves can be obtained honestly if you accepted the Radiant Heart quest to destroy the Fallen Paladins. Very easy quest, all you have to do is defeat several paladins armed with normal weapons(well their leader has +1). Use Protection from Normal Weapons if this fight is so tough for you. Or Sunfire. Or whatever.

There are a bunch of (legal) ways to heal the manifestation.
1: Bhaalspawn powers often include heal.
2: The gloves from the radiant heart can heal others.
3: A magic staff from the graveyard district can heal others (if I remember correctly)
4: A scroll of Greater Restoration from any temple should offer healing too.
5: The Rod of Resurection is usable by any character if I'm correct.
There's more I think but these are the ones I've heard mentioned time and time again. There's no need to shadowkeeper in everything when it can be done legally, though it is a trip to get back to the surface.

OK, let's not be so harsh here, if he wants to shadowkeep some gloves in, we shouldn't post him to death
That thing about the monk is strange... kensais can't wear any gauntlets or braces or anything at all, which makes that place in the inventory quite obsolete, but monks? Weird. Maybe evil chars can't wear those gloves? But then again, description says nothing about that...

"Now why on earth are you doing this?"
Cos it`s my game and I can.
I was half way through this particular quest and didn`t feel like leaving it at that point.
