Shaerngarn Bridge

Post by moran »

Am I missing something... or is there another way to finish of this map?

I have killed all that there is to kill and I can't cross the bridge... when I go to the west side of the map, and it goes to the world map, I can't go to Shaerngarn Ford.

You don't have to cross anything, really. I think the ford itself is located at either the dam site or the bridge. You just need to destroy the dam and save the bridge. If you've gotten the message and XP for saving the bridge, just go back to Targos to collect more XP and a new quest.

Edit: I'm not exactly sure which map you are at - if you're stuck at the dam, you need to repair the western bridge with wood taken from the dam.

You're at the Shaerngarn "Dam," not the "Bridge."

It sounds like Aerich's hunch is correct. If you've just only battled the area before with wererats, the spider queen, harpies, and this area with small islands, boars, cats, and those Beast Claw-casting Maralites? True, there's a bridge at the far West you need to fix, but this is not the "Shaerngarn Bridge." You've reached the Shaerngarn "Dam" area. You will know when you reach the Shaerngarn Bridge. As with many of the battles at the Chapters' ends, there's a movie to watch to let you know that this is not a battle to take lightly.

I think when you click on or otherwise first approach the ruined bridge by the damn, it hints that it needs wood. If you fully explore the damn area, you should come across some wood ;) You need to look carefully. The wood is disguised. If you still can't see where to get the wood, go and check out the Walkthrough here.
