hi there, i had found many different types of gem....red, yellow, blue, etc. what is the purpose of these gems? can they be make into weapon or etc? if so, where.

i am a cleric, in chapter 2 now.

btw, how can i use the healer kit? i tried to pass to my henchmen or myself to use it, but i cant do it.

please advice

With the exception of the diamond the only purpose gems have is selling them, you can can use the diamond to enchant weapons in chapters 1 and 3.

The use of healing kits depends on your healing skill. Its need's to be a specifc level to use the different leveled healing kits

Any class can use healing kits, the skill level determines how effective they are

And for for the gems, you can sell them all though I would save the diamond for creating weapons but that's up to you

if u have diamond just keep it n sell the other gems.i already used my diamond to create astral blade n sold it (im playing mage n no use to keep this sword )


so like the others told,sell the gems n keep the diamond.

in chapter 1 u can use the diamond n create magical weapon/armor (read http://www.gamebanshee.com/neverwintern ... re.php).it seems ur playing chapter 2 now,just waiting until chapter 3 as shrike told above (dunno either just right now im still in port llast n completing my magic creation in eltora's house before going to luskan).

sorry oot,can u tell me where i can find ettercap silk gland? need 1 more for creating ring of protection +3.i dont recall where i found it

In order to use healing kits you need to have some points in the "Heal" skill... if you don't that is why you can't use them. If you do, how are you trying to use them?

Healing Kits also (attempt to) remove Poison and Disease(?). On top of that they won't break a Hide and I think they don't provoke Attacks of Opportunity and you can heal allies. All in all they're more useful then most healing potions.
