Ok, on any other game I Would have given up long time ago, but this is'nt any oher game it's VTMB!
Here's the pickle.
Start the game, everything goes fine, further into Character creation things are doing great, it goes through the intro no problem,

BUT THEN!
A few minutes (maximum 10) into the game everything F*cks up. The screen freezes, the sound crashes and I cant even get out and back to the desktop
By using Ctrl+alt+delete.
My Only hope is to turn power off and try again, and again, and again.

No Use of course. :(
Why, why, why.
WHYYY?!
Anyway:
Here are my specs:
Radeon 9700 Pro
512 MBytes
Intel Pentium 4. 2,80 Ghz

This is not the first time this has hapend on this computer, it went fine when I played redemption on VTMB however no way.

Sorry for the bad English Guys. Not from the US or the UK.

512 Mb

That's barely enough to run Windows XP - you need more memory 1GB will work, 2Gb is better.

I've been playing the game fine for years with 512mb and an integrated graphics chip ...

Yeah, but I'm thinking that graphics board doesn't have on-board memory - It maps what it needs from RAM.

Mystefystisk,

You may want to check your Pentium 4 processor to make sure it's not having cooling issues. Pentium 4's have a tendency to run really hot. Add a game like VTMB that uses 100% of the CPU's processing power, and you just might have severe problems with keeping the processor from melting down. Windows XP usually locks up if the CPU temperature gets too high. Do you have a custom "after-market" HSF (heat sink and fan)? If you don't, you may want to get one.

You can also improve cooling by removing the removable part of the case - this may void your warranty, so be careful, but it does provide additional ventilation.
