Vampire cure issues

alright, so i had maxed shortblade and acrobatics when i get turned by the aundae clan. do some quests here or there, slaughter all 3 clans, go for the cure. after i get cured, my shortblade and acrobatics get dropped down to 96 and 97, not to mention my sneak gets dropped to 67 (think it was in the 80s b4 i got turned.) now... im no longer a vampire, i got nothing fortifying or draining those skills, had nothing fortifying or draining them when i was a vampire or when i got cured. sneak has a red value, shortblade and acrobatics have white values. i doubt theres a restore skill spell... so looks like im s.o.l. the sneak is the 1 that puzzles me, after i got turned it was still below 100 so i could get new levels in it. while i was a vampire i did get it to 100, it was only like 3 levels away. and on all 3 skills it says i have 100/100 exp in getting another level yet using them or resting wont fix em. i saw the master trainer in shortblade, got it back to 100, got a character level, rested, and their still screwy....

any ideas?

Actually, imperial cult altars when you use them cause 2 magical effects, restore attribut (all) 100pts and restore skill (all) 100pts.
Check in the magic window next time you use it.

ok, tried the altar, it got my sneak outta the red and into the white now...
shortblade remained the same, and ive since leveled it to 103...
and acrobatics was actually being fortified 10 pts by marara's ring so thats been resolved...
not that this is a bad thing, having a ghost fortify skill on me, but just wanna know wth is going on with it so i can duplicate it on a few more chars lol

if any of this helps, im running morrowind, no patches no expansions, no mods

Well, have you joint the morag tong? If so you might beable to get the one fortify skill spell in the game but probably not

You can get the fortify skill with no patches or expansions but exploiting glitches is never a good idea.

yah, i got mephala's skill but it only came with chameleon and fortify attack =(
and i was only kidding about exploting it, but its interesting tho aint it
