Pretty much as the title says what NPC for crafting magic and or wondrous items? I would think a wizard would be good but maybe a cleric or druid for the expanded spell repoirtoire.

Sorceror would be bad for lower spell selection.

NOTICE: I said NPC not PC. My PC is a noncasting warrior.

I use Qara to do this. most Craft magic or wondrous items need spell such like "light",haste, fireboal,.. Most of them are low lever spell, and Qara is a sorcerer, who can has up to 6~9 spell slot for low level spell, she can create many item each time instead of many rest (press R).

i also use Elanee to has this craft feat. i can only find 1-2 spell-resistance scrolls , when i want to craft a armor which can has spell-resistance+22 , a druid or priest can cast spell-resistance many times.

Wizard and Druids are the best. Sorcerers and Clerics can do it too.

Unfortunately you don't get a good crafter (Sand) until later in the game. You so are stuck with Quara and Elanee for awhile.

If you don't want to wait, just use the console to give Elanee and Quara the feats for free

Clerics are better for Divine Damage (I think) Holy Weapons, but Druids may be able to do so as well (I've not come across that recipe book yet).

Even Later than Sand, you get access to a Cleric, but I don't think that one has the feats required......
