The Gauntlet

This is going to be more hack 'n slash than roleplaying, just to be warned.

So, the basic of this "campaign", is that one player fight series of battles, trying to beat his/her opponent(s) before getting killed. Each battle is determined more or less randomly by me. This includes opponent, terrain, and any other effects that might be affecting the battle. After each battle I'll reward the player gold and experience, and the gold can be used between battles to buy items and supplies, as well as healing. There is no automatic healing between battles, so you must decide wether use your cold to restore your health or not. The battles and the equipment available for buying is determined by me depending on character's level.

This is "campaign" is single player campaign, though I'm ready to run few of them at the same time.

The campaign could be good way to use character testing in terms of powergaming as well ;)

Anyone interested? Questions?

What kind of rules would you be using?

Anything from Basic 3.5 rulebooks, though if you can provide me a link to rules you want to use, I'm open with the idea. So, anything goes as long as it's 3.5, and I can have access to it either via book or via internet.
