help with east empire company quests *probable spoiler*

hey everyone...im having trouble with this quest in bloodmoon where i gotta talk with graring but it wont let me because he keeps saying that he doesnt deal with the likes of me...what do i do? i tried to kill him...got the pic axe...but then i couldnt finish the quest...i got no idea what to do... btw i have it on xbox...

You have to beat him into submission with your fists (ie unarmed combat). If your unarmed combat isn't up to the task, improve it by either buying training, or (starting at Ebonheart) work your way up the Bitter Coast beating up mudcrabs and the like.

that didnt work...i found the problem though...the imperial woman that i was supposed 2 save them from was hiding behind this massive rock...she poped out of nowhere when i was tryin to do what you told me...thanks anyway
