when to play expansion?

Does anyone have any recommendations as to when to play the HOW expansion? My characters are now at 9th level (or above) and I am half way through Dorn's Deep (name?). Just killed Kilgar. Is this a good time? Many thanks.

Im not sure about this, but i would keep going for a while, the weird thing is that that the beginning of HoW is harder then the middle and the end, IMO

Difficult choice. You can go now but will find the end of IWD easy.
Alternatively there is no problem in finishing IWD then importing your characters to HoW (***minor spoiler*** there are a few benefits in doing this).
Also, do you have TotLM?
