Battling Belhifet in HoW

***SPOILERS***
I lost my HoW save just before Icasaracht, so I won't know how tough that fight is for a while. D'oh.
But I did fight Belhifet last night in HoW (and TotL installed).
First thing I noticed was that the Golems dont go hostile - they stay neutral, attack and don't use poison gas?! WTF?!
I defeated him twice using strats posted before but lost several party members. The battle is tougher - especially since my AC's aren't as high as before HoW (Mithral field plate is now recognised as magical and cannot be worn in conjunction with protection items).
Modified strategy:
No preparation. When Poquelin stops yappin' & dispels magic, detect traps & mirror image/stoneskin/strength/haste and cleric defensive spells. Protect from fire if you have time or the items. Avoid the traps and take on the Big B. The golems will chase the weakest mage character, let them, leaving 5 to hack away. Alternatively you can have someone get the golems with Conlan's hammer but your mage still has to run or hold their own.
When Belhifet "teleports", keep to the outer ring to avoid traps and keep at him. It doesn't take long if you keep hasting.
My early mistakes - neglecting the decoy mage, wasting the 5th person chasing the golems, wasting the 4th person on singing bard songs (I thought this was useful but BigB hits so often and does so much damage it really ain't worth it) - thus only having 3 people hacking his daemonic hide.
