Does anyone have any effective strategies to kill the luremaster and his band of heroes?

Yes, I could use some help. Finding this battle very difficult. I can take out about 2-3 specters but thats it! Leaves about 4 of them left with the Luremaster. Anyone have some good tips that have worked?

Nevermind. Got em! Took about 6-7 tries but finally pegged him with one left standing. Although I don't believe there was any experience given. What the heck? That was one tough battle!

I'll say! I've only fought him a couple of times, so I haven't really come up with a good strategy yet, other than to try to keep nailing him with ranged weapons.

Here's what I did to beat the Luremaster and his gang. I did as the walkthrough stated and worked on his gang first. I threw haste on everyone and ran them all but my mage to the upper right area of the room. As everyone started to appear my group jumped on the cleric specter first. Meanwhile my lone mage siting like a dead duck in the middle of the room cast a sunfire while all the other specters started to converge on him. This messes up most of them to the point of them being hurt. Then the mage plays a little hit and run and starts being a decoy running around the room. (He's a little bit faster from the haste.) The rest of my party then moves to the mage specter and so on picking them off one by one. I got lucky as the mage specter cast a fireball at my mage and missed hitting mostly his own specters. I did lose 2 guys but I made it through and went after the Luremaster. He wasn't as bad as his gang but he did confuse some of my dudes which proceeded to kill each other. I also used the white bishop item while killing the fighter specters which helped immensely.

Not sure if it's a great strategy but it worked for me once I figured this out. And that's all I cared about was getting through with someone alive to move on. If anyone else wants to try it, hope it works as well or better for you.
