I am leveling up from a level 12 fighter, but I'm not getting my constitution bonus- extra hit points (6 extra, which I kind of need). anyone know what's up?

Do you have any other classes that are of a higher level?
Also, as per AD&D rules, once you hit lvl 9, you only get a fixed amount of HP. It's 3 for a fighter.
Those are the only two things I could think of.

Your question isn't clear.
Why do you exspect to get exactly 6 extra HP ?
If you have reached a level 12 in another class before, you only get 1 HP, no other bonus for reaching level 12 as fighter.
If you are talking about the big special bonus you get when you reach level 12 first in a class, you get it only when you also reached level 7 first in the same class, else you only get the level 7 bonus.

PS: In PST the HP bonus you get for high con even applies to higher levels than 9 or 10, unlike in standard AD&D.

high constitution

I am getting the expected 1 hp (I am a higher level as a mage), but my constitution is ridiculously high, to the point where I get 6 extra hp every time I level. but for some reason it is not happening on this one. I'm stuck as to why!

You only get more than 1 HP at level up if you reach a level you haven't reached before with another class.
Mage was your highest class, therefore you got 6 HP for levelling as mage. (1 + 5 bonus for 19-20 con.)

If you need more HP just raise con at level up or with tattoos.
