Hi,
I'm playing a rogue/bard-character (with a few fighter-levels) and I'm not sure if I'm gonna stick with the crossbow, which I am capable of using, or if I'm gonna spend points on becoming skilled with the bow...

Is the bow better? What is better with the bow? Does the crossbow have any advantages? Is it worth spending extra points on the crossbow-ability or the bow-ability?

Other advices for the further development of my character are welcome as well :)

It seems, (if this thread is still right and the "rapid reload"-feat still doesn't work like the manual says i should in the game: )
Neverwinter Nights: Does rapid reload work only for crossbows?
that the crossbow is basically useless compared to the bow, because of low fire-rates compared to bow at higher levels.

I guess I will have to ditch the crossbow and spend one extra point on the bow than... :(

I've played with both bows and crossbows ... I've never had a problem with crossbows being underpowered - but then I usually just use them as a back up for my mage incase she runs out of spells. If you are planning a character that relies heavily on ranged attacks, then I'd definately go for bow - there are some very nice bows in the game.

If you don't plan on relying heavily on ranged attacks, then just stick with crossbow. However, you mentioned that you are taking a few fighter levels? A fighter will automatically gain the feat that allows you to use a bow so don't waste a feat gaining it :)
