Problem with world map?

Ahh good ol bg2.. third time and now playing evil.. 
Okey so I have this strange map problem, didn´t experience it before and have looked in like three different forums but with no answer..
The problem:
Areas in the world map disapears even if I have been there. This happened both to windspear hills and umar hills and I still active in the umar quest! :/
(i have the latest patch and TOB expansion, no other mods)
Do have 1) any clue what is going on and 2) how can I get the areas back on the map?
