I was bored one night, so I made a "Murderer". I decided to make a fighter. Give him max EXP and max him out in Xbow and Long Sword. I think he was
Str--18/94
dex--18
Con--18
do the other really matter.
I went to the inn and dropped the inn keeper. The elf guy came out after me and he has a bad ass broad Sword. Went outside Hrothgar had crap when i killed him *tuff*.
I went to the temple to get my new Broad Sword IDed when the main priest attacks me. He has some bad ass plate armor. Only problem is after you kill ppl you cant go on. Hrothgar tries to kill you. So is there a way to get all these goodies and not have to kill everyone?

Besides killing I don't think you can get the items and only Hrothgar gets you throught the pass. I haven't tried killing the elf then talking to Hrothgar before he turns aggressive (having done the other quests to prepare for the journey) - if that can be done.

I wouldn't even go for Everard (is he the one with the armour?) - I read somewhere that killing him (at any point) means you have to sacrifice your main party member to seal up the hell-gate instead! Think it was on another board - planetBG maybe?

Put the items you want on your chars and then export them then start again import your chars,there ya have it with no one dead.had my party equipped for world war 3 at the start
