The archers stood at the edge of the forest, crouched down low so that they could not be seen by the soldiers in the clearing in front of them. Jack was at the centre of the group. This was his brigade, and had been closing in on them all afternoon. The soldiers they had been tracking where of no particular importance. Ever since the new regeim began, the old armies had split into groups of four people or five. No-one even dared create an army again. Those who had tried had been killed before they founded a new rebellian. After the early skirmishes people thought it was foolsish to even try and fight any more. Exept for his squadren and possibly a few more up and down the country five or six countries had also been heard to form small bands of resistance fighters. Even some reports of a large resistance movement in Japan capturing a few of the ships and cargo. Probobly dead by now. I signalled to the young woman next to me.
