What game do you think has the best customisation for your PC?
I'm looking for an RPg to get into over the summer and i like being able to customise my charcter so i thought i'd ask for some opinions for what to buy. If I can't find anything that i think is good I'm going to have to start playing KotOr I + II again which i've played to death lol.
So let me know what you think, any opinions are appreciated

Well, you could try games like the Gothic series (Gothics 1 to 3). Quite customisable if you can stomach the horrendous combat system and, for the third game, the numerous bugs and glitches that plagued it.

If you don't mind adding a large stack of player-made mods to make the game interesting I'd suggest the PC version of Morrowind; the GOTY edition can be had quite cheaply and is well worth it for both the actual expansion content and the variety of mods that require those expansions.
Creating a character in Morrowind is virtually limitless in terms of flexibility, and in terms of the game itself, you can basically go anywhere and do anything in any order you please.
It would also help though if you told us which games you've already played and which games you definitely don't want to get.

For good ol' fashioned turn-based gaming, my suggestion is "Temple of Elemental Evil". It's rather buggy, but there are a couple official patches and a host of fan-fixes and mods. The mods offer a lot of enhacement left out in the original release, plus a few extras from the twisted minds at Co8. There is also soon to be a new entire module from Co8 to play on the ToEE engine.

Morrowind or Daggerfall, those are probably -the- most custom character influenced in the RPG industry. Never played daggerfall though, so dunno how good it is.

Stay with Morrowind
I would give Daggerfall amiss

OT: Just to point out that some of us think the combat system was bloody brilliant
If you want customizable appearance and gear then i guess Morrowind is your best bet. If you want to go more into personalizing the character in a role-playing sense then try Fallout. You can have so much fun and different experiences with messing around with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. skill and perk systems.

Well, its a matter of opinion. I know some like it but my opinion is still that I hated the combat mechanics in the Gothic series very much (this post pretty much sums up my feelings about it).

Morrowind sits high up there. I'd like to suggest Baldur's Gate too, character creation take long time to go through because of all the options.

Except, Two worlds only has half the capabilities as morrowind or even Oblivion.

Never played that, so dunno. In any case, two worlds IS rather open ended on the character building, that's for sure, I'm just saying it's not nearly as much as Morrowind or Daggerfall.

I'd go for Fallout or Lionheart. I think, for some reason, Morrowind forces you too much on being a Fighter type. Not bad per se, but it's just that Fallout actually DID something with/for its customizable characters.
Maybe Arcanum deserves a mentioning too...

I have to agree, even with the amount of stuff you can do for your character, a sword and shield are really the only way to get anywhere in that game. I don't even think you can be a spellcaster and maybe get to Dagoth Ur without some sort of glass dagger or something handy.

You don't like oblivion because the water looked better in morrowind? Wow....

Ok....that still doesn't make sense that you played it too much and as a result despise it. I could understand bored of it, but you despised it and then compared it to morrowind, so I don't follow.
What is Crimbo Time?
