Windspear Hills - Bug - Spoiler

After Garren left me alone in his house, I left and cleared out the area. I ran into him in front of Firkraags dungeon and he told me about his child being kidnapped. I enter, eventually rescue his child who tells me to meet back at Garrens home. I head back and enter the house, I cant initiate dialog with Garrens child, only with Jum. When I do, these bandits appear and tell me they have kidnapped Garrens child(the one I just rescued) in the name of Firkraag. If I kill them the game freezes with my party just standing there looking around the room. I can just leave the house and not fight the bandits but how do I get experience for the quest?

Ok I went back in the house and there are 2 Ilthas now. What is going on?

Sounds like a bug. Do you have the official patch installed? And the ones from [url="http://www.baldurdash.org/buglist.html"]Baldurdash[/url]?
