Need help with a new build

Since I started playing Baldur's Gate 1 I haven't been able to quit playing Bioware's D&D games. Well, I had a few breaks but I started with NWN 2 just a couple of weeks ago. As I'm always up for the challenge to build the 'perfect' built (which applys to a build which i enjoy playing with), I haven't been very succesful. As for now I've got a R(3)/W(6)/AT(2), which is quite fun to play but the character just looks too lame to play with. The AT gear looks just rubbish as wel as any robe which I can let him wear. The roleplaying goes absolutely fine, I find myself wondering sometimes how the game can be this easy (which is strange at playing @ very difficult)..

So now, I want more of a challenge and a character that doens't have the looks of some sort of clown..

I always enjoyed playing F/M's, esspecialy a Kensai/Mage dual classed. I know that is impossible in NWN2 but I'd like a build what might come close to it..

The kensai is supposed to dual wield katana's, be unarmored and the only spellcasting I'd like him/her to have are buffs.. Any suggestions on a Kensai/Mage build or just a pure Kensai build (thought of Monk/Fighter or Monk/Ranger).

Thanks in advance,

Ensaro

this little item saved my hours of game time in creating and testing builds:

CharacterBuildCalculator for NWN2 (CBC2) -- Neverwinter Nights 2 Vault

allows you to plan out your entire character ( stats/ feats/ skills/race/class etc)

without having to run a new game every time you think of something new.

through this i figured out how to make my ranger 6/ bard 2/ AA7/ STA 5
work out

Eldritch Knight would be a good class to include because you get high BAB and spell progression. Since you are not wearing armor you may want a lot of spells to protect yourself.

Wizard5 EK10 Fighter1 HarperAgent4

BAB 16 - 4 attacks :)
Spells 17th level Wizard progression - 9th level spells.

Use self buffs and no save spells (because you won't have the highest intelligence). I think theres a version of this build in the bioware builders guild (done by a builder 10x better than me so check it out)

You could create your own armor if you wished with the toolset

With my AT, I maxed use magic device and used the duelists armor (I don't recall how high it must be to use it, but I think I able to wear it by level 10 or so).

Extra hastes and it looks good IMO.

Any fighter/wizard/eldritch knight build will be the closest you can come to a kensai/mage.
