Unholy Arc Won't take Valdane's Blood

My Battlemage/Valkyrie arrived at the Unholy Arc in the Vale of Ruins no problem.
When She went to place the vial of Valdanes Blood on the Unholy Arc she won't give it up, problem. What can I do to make here give it up. Never had this problem with any other character.

Dummy me!!! I went back to Vartugg and discovered that he hadn't sent me to The vale of Ruins. Once he did I was able to use Valdane's blood.
Courage isn't the lack of fear. It's being able to function despite the fear.
