Hi guys, well I got the two games together as a gift this week , and have three minor questions.

1) What is "call for allies"? An enemy AI thing?

2) Is this "call" implemented from the very beginning of IWD if HOW is installed?

3) Do I need to patch IWD to 1.06 before installing HOW? I installed both already without patching...


I'm a bit eager to get back to the Vale of Shadows, hence I couldn't resist asking these questions while hiding from my boss at work.

Call for allies is enemy AI.

If you engage one enemy out of the fog of war it wall call for allies hidden by the FoW. This stops you picking them off 1 by 1 - a popular tactic.

Apparently, all changes are implemented for IWD - I don't know b/c it only came out in Europe on Friday
