Experience points when leaving quest area
If you kill some enemies in a quest area (like alot for example) and then leave the quest area and then reload to a spot before the quest, do you still have all the experience points you gained during your attempt or time inside the quest area?
No. Only when you hero save, then you can retain those experience points (and whatever item you get during that quest). Just make sure not to do this too often as it will cause instability.

i was doing the Lychfield Graveyard quest and i killed a very large mass of undead, and i was stupid enough to accidently leave the quest area and reload to a point before the quest. oh well, i ended up going back and killing probably double the amount i killed in the first place anway, so it all works out in the end.
