When i was on holiday, i saw Icewind dale cheap and bought it. I used to borrow it off a mate about 5 years ago, and when i saw it again i just had to buy it. Ive just got to the dragons eye again, and whenever my cleric casts glyph of warding the game instantly crashes. Im using 1.06 patch which was the latest one that i could find if thats the problem. Im thinking of getting the tweak pack to see if that helps with it

I'd try to enable/disable 3d graphic effects in the configuration. If the game crashes because of the spell casting animation you could enter the inventory screen until the spell animation is completed to avoid it.
But I wouldn't bother, I never used this spell although it has quite some cheesy potential.
