Varrtug Quest Troubles

Hey... Ok, here is the scoop. I used my lan to farm, right? I think this is the cause of my problem, and hope one of you may have a solution. The run down is this:
I have gotten vartugg's eye, and returned the four relics to Talendor. Vartugg's door man man (mystery guild leader guy) does not remember me at all. I cannot ask to see Vartugg, as the option is not there... Does anyone have a solution that will allow me to make him remember? lol. I'm thinking about retalking to Graemere, and a lot of characters in the game. I might reacquire things, i dunno. Lan is weird, and did weird things to my single player game. :/
Bottom Line:
HELP!!!

Moving a character around using multiplayer does break quests in your singleplayer game. Because of this, I ran into the very same problem. The solution I took was to climb the mountian right behind Vartuggs fortress and run along the ridge to Irynthabl. Unfortunately for Vartugg, he wasn't going to get his eye back
I tried loading a previously saved game with an early version of my character to try to work back to the point where he would accept to see me and while it did work it took a good few hours to get there.
If you do succeed in climbing into Irynthabl, not having dealt with the Stones, you might have trouble if you want to leave for some reason. I never found a good place to climb out of Irynthabl so I had a saved game at Arindale and I would use multiplayer (LAN) to load that game so I could visit the various merchants or rest and recharge my spellbooks at the Inn. I would then reload my game at the maze and carry on whackin' harrowbarks, spiders and whatever else.
Since there are no more quests you will have to undertake to finish the game it doesn't harm any thing to switch your character from save to save at this point.
One more tip - If you haven't utilized the editor and are looking for some armour to complete some sets or the wonder weapon you wanted, there is hope :mischief:
By using a
third slot.
For example; first slot, in front of the maze. Second slot, Arindale or wherever you want and the third slot at the end of the maze. By using multiplayer you can go through as many times as you like, gaining levels and re-opening the chests. Just lather, rinse, repeat. I don't think it's a secret that the best weapons chest in the game lies within the maze and I think it's fun to see what comes out.

The trick to climbing stuff is back flipping.
There is a spot behind Vartuggs fortress that you can climb up to the top. First try running/jumping up the slope and you should make it two thirds of the way if you have the right spot. Then turn around and start back flipping to the top. If you're just back flipping in place take a small step forward and try again. Look for the lowest point behind your character and aim for that. When you get to the top run north then east, you should at this point see the forbidden lands moonbridge down below. Continue east turning slightly south (ESE). The next open area you'll come to is Irynthabl. You enter there and keep going in a ESE direction and that should get you to the maze. You might want to explore a little bit before entering as there are two chests, one North and one West of the maze. There is a campfire there as well.
As for what comes after the maze.... you'll just have to find out :mischief:
If you turn left upon entering the maze, the first chest you should find will be the weapons chest. I've seen the Balderic of Night come out of this chest but I have never encountered the Divine Balderic anywhere in the game
The same can be said for the Bow of the Avenger. As far as I know they are only available from the editor
Maybe someone else has gotten them but not me.
