OK, I have the items, first - How do I use them, secondly the walk thru states that some of the statues will come to life when I move an item on the alter, I have taken the book from the alter, put it back, placed the bell and candle on it but no statues are coming to life. What am I doing wrong?

Put the Bell, Candle and Book on the altar and step back. If nothing happens you're bugged. :<

And the item uses themselves, don't worry about it.

I'm bugged, anyway to fix this problem?
