Hey all,
I just got the CE over the weekend. First time that I play Dungeon Lords. It's a decent game IMO (so far).
Anywho, I started off with a Human Male - Adept. I'm currently Level 7 and still wandering around Fargrove.
I'm still learning alot and have been browsing this site for helpful tips. If you guys have anything to share for my Race and Class, please feel free.
BTW, I'm running this on my laptop with Intel GMA 950 graphics chip (using the 3D analyser tool to get around the T&L). So it does tend to crash for me from time to time, but not to the point of being frustrating, I save very often anyway.

hey newbie
this is a really great game. i know its frustrating trying to get a game going nowadays with the dwindling population in the lobby, but stick with it and keep coming back, it worth it. wait around a few min and someone will be in. as far as classes go, its just personal preference, they are all pretty equal imho. i do suggest you check the walkthrough and make a plan based on what skills you want. it sucks pretty bad to get into a guild and find out its not what you want, you cant go back. good luck and enjoy it.
see you in the lobby

Quick tip: Don't put ANY points into Honor except whatever is necessary to meet the requirements for a class.
Quick tip number two: If you haven't already, rent a room at the Fargrove Inn. There's a nice going away gift waiting for you.

Huh? lol. I don't play multiplayer.
What's the multiplayer experience like? With my luck, my CD key probably wouldn't work, lol.

c'mon man, ill host
i played through entirely in single player the first time. its not a bad idea, just so you respect how hard the game really is. they really dont give you crap in single player as far as armor and stuff. e.g. i finished wearing plate mail and wielding the katana of sun, the best i could find. once you make some friends in the lobby you can shortly have a variety of wep and armor to mess around with. ill hook you up if i see ya.
also, playing on-line kinda makes it all new again. you get to experience the game with company, other ppls thoughts and ideas. real ppl are way more interesting to talk to than npc's. im to the point now where i dont even really have a game going, nor do i care to. just my chars that i take to the lobby and adventure with. just my thoughts on it, for whatever thats worth.
hope to see you, man
btw, its not the best idea to take a savegame to multi if you are serious about finishing your quest, sometimes they get kinda screwed up. you can however take you char there if you are careful who you talk to, eg any NPC that triggers a quest. sounds kinda crazy but you'll catch on.just remember to never save over your sp file
