Cursed Spirit

Yesterday the cursed spirits crashed my game. They were spawning in abnormal amounts in the Black Swamp, I didn't ever see that many cursed spirits before! Every second time the game spawned something it was cursed spirits! Well, luckily I had a lot of celestial wards of ice (my brother says they are a waste of gold but they're not as expensive as a divine intervention and are sufficient to finish those cursed spirits) so I simply steamrollered them until I wanted to save the game - it gave the error message that is also in my sig. The cursed spirits crashed the game! This crash sort of "revives" them since I'll have to battle all those cursed spirits again now! I even had a nightmare where several cursed spirits laid siege to my house waiting for me to leave it so they could shoot me...

Well, finished the game (once again) last night, only one more spirit spawned. This time though, it wasn't a cursed spirit but a devilish spirit, of course it died quickly too. However, on the way I received a very strange looking weapon (heavy polearm class) which had magic strike and more but I don't know what else because my character didn't have the identify skill. Maybe it was Ikrella's staff? (didn't open any chest on the way from the black swamp to Shaduroth, so actually it must have been dropped by a monster)
