Hi there,

I will get NWN 2 in a couple of days and i wonder if i can make more than just one character from the start. In similar games like BG 1+2, Icewinddale 1+2 and i think even in NWN 1 it was possible to make up to 6 characters from the start although some quests demanded to pick up some special NPC´s.

Crating just 1 char would cause me headache with this wide variety of possible classes, races, subraces, skills, feats etc etc. :speech:

tku for answers

So far, I haven't found a limit to how many you can make. I was out of town for a month, and my brother got hold of my comp while I was gone. :speech: I returned to find every bizarre race/class mix that you can think of crammed in my selection list. So, knock yourself out and have fun. :)

Thats normal that you you can make unlimited charaters but the question is how many you can take in your party. 4 Slots are there i read somewhere...can one fill all 4 slots with own chars??

Nope the other slots can only be filled by npcs, but that just makes since afterall any and and all characters you make are the Kalach-Cha and there can only be one Kalach-Cha.

I can be done and requires more than 1 comp in multi-player and can be a bit of a pain in the tail. I have made of other characters on secondary comps then switched the other comps "player" to take over an NPC (will sit there and do nothing). In the mean time, the character that I made on the other comp will follow me around like a puppy dog and behave like any other NPC. The trick is, that when you go from one area to another the "NPC" that you created will revert back to the control of the other computer. So, you have to keep the other comp locked in on the desired game generated NPC...Like I said, it's a bit of a pain.

PS. Sorry for misunderstanding the original question. :o

Thanks.
