BG1Tutu or EasyTutu?

Which one is actually easier? Are there any significant differences once they're installed? I've not had much success with either of these in the past, but would love to give it a try.
TIA.

Unless I misread it, 'easy' just refers to the installation, not the game itself.

I would say EasyTuTu. It's very easy to install, and thus you probably get faster to the gaming itself...

What's EasyTutu? Is it the same, once installed?

They are the same, just EasyTutu comes with an installer so its easier to install than the original Tutu

EasyTutu is what the modders themselves are touting. If I recall correctly, from the time I asked in their forum the same question as yours, development has now switched over completely to EasyTutu.
Here's some info about EasyTutu.

At first I had problems with reinstalling all Baldur's gate Installations after installing XP.
Eventually I installed them OK on a separate drive which did not have Windows on it. I still had problems with EasyTutu, it said it was the wrong version, but BG1Tutu was OK. I think that both have been sussed out for the USA market, but that there are still problems with those in the UK. Having said that, it does crash occasionally and it does not like you changing your multiparty players too often. However, I am my second outing on it now and am enjoying it. Just remember to save more often than you might have done and keep old games in case you have to return to them.

Thank you, Fable. I haven't played BG for a long time but I might play through the whole series - just one more time.

I liked Easy Tutu as I couldn't figure out the original Tutu. I like it better than playing BG straight other than Khalid starting out with dual bastard swords... I like to use him as an archer, oh well. Easytutu is great for those of us too retarded to install mods & stuff

Since I tend to use Minsc or Kivan rather than Khalid, that's not much of a problem for me. My gripe is that they specialise in dual wield and in two-handed swords and halberds respectively. I know it's just carrying their weapons over from the original, but rangers really ought to specialise in Scimitars, Long swords, War hammers etc. to make the most of their dual-weilding attributes.
That's what i have done with both my ranger and ranger/cleric. Obviously Scimitars for my character Drizzt and War Hammers for my ranger/ cleric.
