Very light spoilers here, I'm mostly just asking about cafting stuff, although that will include asking about what may happen with crafting in the expansions. I played the original NWN ages ago a couple times through, and only recently got SoU and HotU. So upon playing the original again, now with the expansions installed, I was pleased to see you could craft your own items. I took the skills, but soon learned you needed materials, so I waited until I found a few. Then I made some components, but still couldn't make a complete item like a sword. So finally I gave up waiting and went on line to look for guides... and I don't see anything about magic items. The guides mention only recipes for mundane euipment. Is it really true that you can't make magical equipment, or do you make the items and then enchant them by some other means? You can make a bone wand from, surprisingly, a bone, and then enchant that with the craft wand feat, but there are no corresponding craft weapon or craft armour feats. Do you have to find someone in the game who will make them magic? And if so, is it really necessary to make the base item, or can you just buy one?

The craft weapon and armour skills are pointless as you can only make mundane items as far as I remember.
