I'm in Durlag's Tower, this level of the basement where there are the four drawfs and the lift. And Khalid keeps attacking me for some reason. Nothing that a can tell happened to make him do so. I tried casting control person and then resting and then my spell is off him and he's attacking us again. Is this supposed to happen or is this a bug and I'll have to go back to a saved game before it started happening...which might be aways.

Your auto-save would be right when you entered that level. Depending on how much of that level you searched you may not have far to go back. Kahlid is a goody law abider type so if you are evil enough he may decide to make you pay for being bad... Are you fighting the dwarves?
