Is there somebody that would like to join me in playing a little(or big) MP game in BG2 this week and/or weekend.
I've never MP'ed a RPgame before, so I guess I need to learn for upcomming NwN.

I don't know how much "connection" is needed to run smoothly though.

Sure, I'll play. Just I'm not sure about the speed, because I'm from Canada, and your from Denmark. If that creates a slow down... I'll butt out.

Have you guys noticed any slow down on the board?

I'd very much like to join in. I'm moving back into the dorms at college this Thursday, and i'll be running off a T1 connection. I'm not sure how much lag will result due to the distances...prolly a good bit if you are running off a normal 56k connection. It's worth a shot though. And i ALSO am not for sure about connecting to play.

Yes, i have noticed a slow down on the board. It takes a good while to load a page now.

Well I'm "only" running a 256/64 cabel modem connection, it ain't much - but still should be sufficient to play without to much lag.

But I've got this week "off" before starting school again, so it's gotta be this week, or weekends from there on out.

But I'm very keen on playing MP games, so I can get some experience playing a pure mage in MP.

Well, i'm pretty sure with MP games you've simply gotta have a go at it when everyone has the time, which means you prolly wouldn't finish an entire game in one week. If you have to, you would just all come back to it when you had the opportunity. Just the same as a PnP game i suppose, though i never played. Anyways, if you haven't started come Thursday evening (evening here...don't know what time or day there...i live in Texas), then i would still like to play. It's about 12:30 on Tuesday the 21st here.

I'll make the sixth member then. Can we do it in ToB? I have it and the latest patch and I'll host on gamespy. Lag there is not bad at all...

I've never looked at this gamespy, so I don't know how it works, but if we have somebody with a decent line, that person could host, and we could just connect to him.

*looking into gamespy*

Don't you need to dial direct into said host?

After what I've found out - all you need it the IP-adress wich whould be simple to get.

Have looked a bit at GameSpy - I can't figure that thing out - guess I'll/we'll have to try making a game there, so I can find out how it works :)

Well, i don't even know if the game is still up. Are you using game spy arcade? version 1.08? when i click on either bg2 of ToB, i don't see anything...no games to join.

I got an idea. Why have sort've like a coliseum type thing. A few of us will get togethor on a weekend about 4'o'clock Game Banshee time, and play a few rounds with our own iportated chars?
