Well met everyone.
I have a problem concerning Act 1 of MoTB.
I'm having trouble in getting past "The Barrows of the Bear God"
I can't get past through the Upper Barrows.
I have already tried the following:
1. Use old character / Create new character
2. Destroy the bones of a bear / Put offering
3. Obtain Imaskari Rod / Items from Ancient Wooden Chests
4. Explore all places (Lower / Middle / Upper)
5. Kill every monster and loot their essences
6. Update my journal with the crusade of the betrayer
7. Talk to Safiya

But still nothing... the exit is still blocked.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong or not doing and what item(s) needs to be obtained before the exit is passable.

Please help... I'm at the edge of my wits .

click on the barrier. you should then have a choice of hitting it with the rod. you'll also get a suprise for doing it this way. have fun

Which barrier (Lower / Middle / Upper)?
I think you're talking about the passage in the Middle Barrows because I already did that before (countless reload of saves and character creation).

Either way, when I right click on the exit my only options are: Examine, Use (locked), Pick Lock, and Bash.

if this is the barrier i am thinking of, just burn the offering from the offering pool, then walk through the newly made gate.

might be offering.. not exactly sure what situation u are in

if u haven't tried the offering (not the rod), there is a sacred pouch item at the northeast side of the map. (its where u encounter Orglash)

if u have already opened a passage to where okku sleeps and fought him then well there is something wrong.

where are you exactly? have you fought the bear god yet?

I'm in the Upper Barrow.
Where do I exactly fight Okku or what would trigger the fight against Okku?

There's not really much else you can do. Before I went into the cavern where he is, Safiya said something about a bear god and told me to be careful. When you walk into the room he'll be standing directly before you. You'll get some dialogue then he'll attack. After defaeting him and his minions, go to the back and exit. Don't forget the loot.

I have finished the game and just started another one with different build (using a bit of console cheat this time for superior melee build.)
I just got past that part with okku the bear and I'm at the gate of Mulsantir talking to the merchant.

Like I said before, if you haven't tried the sealed pouch you get from the northeast side of the map where u encounter Orglash, try doing that. (its the middle barrow)
If you have already done this part and walked past the passage that was blocked, then you should be at the upper barrow to encounter Okku.(I believe this encounter occur near the exit of upper barrow, north side of the map) After the fight, you will be able to leave and head on to gate of Mulsantir.

If you have done everything yet did not encounter Okku, my best bet is that you didn't upgrade the game to version 1.10 (it should be indicated on left bottom side of the main manu).
Also there is a hotfix dialogue patch that should solve the problem.

I patched NWN2 to 1.10 before installing MoTB.
I also have applied the hotfix for MoTB.
Maybe I should reinstall?

Hi, it's me again.
I have found a way to continue the quest.
It seems like "overrides" are not fully supported / compatible with MoTB, so I had to remove them.

I have no overrides, and I have killed Okku (and everything else).. But when I travel to Mulsantir, nothing happens... and I can't do anything either, seems like game crashes, slightly I can press escape, check inventory etc, but I can't klik with my mouse on anything

What do you mean nothing happens? Do you just appear at the Gates of Mulsantir and stand there doing nothing? Does the conversation with Safiya trigger as soon as you reach the Gates?

I never start to travel when I click "travel".. it just goes back to upper barrow

Hmm, that must be a bug. Try updating the game, and if that fails, then try reinstalling. Its not much, but it is also the best advice I can give you.
