yeah - but the caster class' will only at lvl. 7 get access to lvl. 4 spells.

And BTW to get a strenght of 6 - you need to use a gnome.

Is str 6 really practical? If you want maintain medium load you can't carry more than 30lb. Weapons, spell books, spell components, clothing, food, water, bedroll, ... Armor? Don't even think about it.

Bulls strength? You don't get that until level 3 of cleric (or wiz)

I think that dualing casters is very inefective in D&D, one or two high level spells makes huge difference.

I'm kinda new to 3E, but I have been playing a game that uses them. I as well as others have found that they have really beefed up the Cleric's spells, and that Mages/Sorcerors can be left out when multiclassing for a solo game. Usually people will go with a Cleric/Rogue/???. The last one usually ends up being either a Fighter or a Paladin. And in 3E rules I thought Cha determined the Mage/Sorceror's spell level and with a Cha score of 8 you're not gonna have any spells. Also with a Str of 6 you're not gonna be able to carry much of anything or be of any use in a melee. I'm sorry, don't wanna bash or anything, but I don't think it'll work.
