melee / base

could someone explain me differents or explains of melee and base weapons. i'm not speek very well in english and i don't sure. in few words please

Not sure what the question is, but I think melee weapon means one that does direct damage and u need to stand beside an enemy.

A ranged weapon is one that will fire projectiles and can be fired from a distance.

A magical weapon would be like a wand or an item with charges that has to be invoked (used) in combat in order to achieve the desired effects.

u got the words confused.

melee: refers to hand-to-hand or close range combat.

base: the unmodified number which u must roll higher in order to hit someone.
