How to close the undead portal in halls of stone?

to close the portal, you need the word of constriction which you get in the hall of wizards. you can go there using the rhonglyn room.

did u talk to beriand about ALL the stories of the halls? if u did, check your quest log. how to close the portal was stated there.

hey, i found the Constricting Word, and it's NOT in the Hall of Wizards. That was where u get the Word of Oblivion. The Constricting Word is found in the Room of Words, which is right on top of a tower accessible from the extreme southeast corner of the Halls of Light, pass a cult mage with the key of Dumathoin
