OK, in downtown you can enter a building that is an old hospital. You find a guy in there whos scared out of his mind. After making my way through the hospital i found a flesh eating woman who wants me to send scaredy cat down to her (will i loose humanity for this?). Anyway i went back upstairs through the air vent in her room and could not find him, hes not there. I reloaded and went back up the long way. Still not there
Anyone know what to do or is it my crappy pc doing this to me again? I seem to remember i managed it with my toreador character but now im stuck.

A few pointers (blacked out since they're spoilers). Been awhile between games, has it
No, you don't lose humanity, and it's important that you get that guy for her for other reasons.
When you go back upstairs, right by the vent grille, there is a business card on the floor that gives you his address.
Once you go down the long way once, you need never do that again - you can go up and down through the grille.

You also could simply kill him when you arrive at the hospital for the first time - saves a lot of trouble.

Ah-ehr-uhm-her...
(***spoiler***)
That character (the flesh eater) will give you useful quests if you manage to get some kind of a non-hostile relationship with her... (is this really a spoiler?)

That would depend, I suppose. When I see a zombie, nobody has to tell me to kill it. I don't stop to ask for directions or anything. With the character under discussion, on the occasion of your first meeting, it is not difficult to imagine somebody who would react in precisely the same way - "Bam! Stop or ah'll shewt!".

I suppose most humans would react in "precisely the same way" if they see a vampire

Well, I'd have to know it was a vampire first. And even when I do, I might decide to ask it to embrace me instead of trying to kill it... :mischief:

Ok... my fault: we're all kindred (otherwise, we wouldn't be playing this game in the first place)
But she's not a zombie. (Does she look like one to you?)

No, she isn't a zombie, but I remember when I first saw her the very first time in my very first game, I hit pause and stared at her for a *looonggg* time wondering whether I should play it cool or do a full-on Rambo. The eyes kind of toss out that whole, "I'm a supernatural" message loud and clear, but the stuff all over her lower face, I think, kind of set me back on my heels a little.
So I eventually did what I usually do. Arm myself to the teeth, prepare all of my best defensive spells, and try to give off the subtle but unmistakable message, "If you blink at me funny, you're going to have *such* a fight on your hands."
Such is *ahem* life in the sometimes nervous WoD.

So you just killed her?

Myself, I grinned widely and suppressed a giggle when I first saw her. Have allways liked the Nagaraja.

She didn't blink funny, so I didn't fight. After the first time, I knew she was OK. Thusfar, I've never actually even tried to kill her (speaking of which, maybe I should try, just to see if I can, you understand
.
Heck, the first time I actually tried to negotiate with Brother Kanker and Jezebel Locke. Hey, they're vampires, too, right? The first time I did a lot of things that were, in retrospect, dumb.
Wisdom does not come from pondering navel lint. It comes from trial and error - mostly error.

Presumably, from the P&P version, you knew what you were looking at. From the strict standpoint of a total newb to the WoD, I was thinking more along the lines of, "OMG, what the heck is that?", and pondering whether it would be better to die cleanly in combat or risk being eaten alive. Much the same thoughts as I had the first time I ran into Zygaena's warform. Ming's warform I was thinking more along the lines of, "You're not getting any of that goop on ME!"

Yeah. You're right. VtM is the P&P roleplaying game which I have played the most. So not much took me completely by surprise (but some of the Tzim creations did, heh). The Nagaraja made me feel right at home, though.

wha/?
P&P WoD? Anyways ive completed the quest but not the game is messing up on society of leopold boat
any advice on getting patch to work instead of crashing to desktop at launch?
Anyways i reloaded and tried to kill her.......She dies, well, she is already dead however infinate zombies appear from every which corner of the room!
I say infinate but i only spent five minutes before getting bored and leaving
I advise you all to do the same. It's fun and why the hell not?
(also when you kill her the health bar for bosses stays at the top leaving you to enjoy the zombies)
This game has given me so much c**p i might just retreat to my xbox

Hhmmm... we should label this thread with a big ***SPOILER*** sign from now on I guess...

Well, I "tried to kill her" often, since the first time we met. I call it "practicing our skills". But I never saved these games, no matter the results. I respect her power and knowledge, so I don't want to be hostile to her. (A question for those who have played the game more than once...: Is it possible to have a serious fight with
anybody in this game without having him/her/it as a permanent enemy afterwards, or just inaccessible or dead?)
