Hi everyone, I tried to wait for the installer version in the making, but just couldn't do it because of one small but possibly critical bug left in 4.2. So here is 4.3 and this version hopefully includes the final big content restoration with over 60 unused never heard lines and over 30 missing sound effects. Regarding the later I would like to ask anyone knowing how to use the console to open it once in a while after a big fight or at the end of a level to look for sound errors that I may have missed. Special thanks for helping me with this version go to RobinHood70 and Acleacius for scripts and beta-testing! The patch is as usually available from The Patches Scrolls: (The Patches Scrolls) Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines Downloads and the changelog is below.

Improved Bach and Johnny cutscenes and the Chang brothers immunity.
Added Nosferatu option for Vandal's quest and a gascan inspection.
Unhid special situation in Chinatown and fixed prostitute hair bug.
Restored over 60 unused lines, thanks for the list to RobinHood70.
Prevented dead Chunk from dancing and fixed Lotus tub guy reaction.
Restored over 30 missing sounds and removed crackhouse respawning.
Made prostitute leave you when attacked and removed some more keys.
Raised Romero training stats and added Intimidation option for Ji.
Allowed some more feeding from Heather and improved her last scene.
Restored crossbow damages and fixed Blood Buff effect for Tremere.
Installer created as seperate archive, many thanks to Paul Moloney.

Made Pisha's quests fail on fight and fixed gallery bar inspection.
Fixed Vandal's freebie and Venus' cut rate, thanks to RobinHood70.
Repaired dialogue bugs of bum, Mercurio, Tseng, Yukie and Danielle.
Corrected sewers level load orientation and two comfort reactions.
Fixed new line on phone not working and minor log and text details.
Unstuck Ricky and swapped a few prostitutes to seperate like ones.
Repaired Cal not letting you up and dead Mercurio sending an email.
Corrected Flynn giving guymag for free and a Nadia dialogue error.
Fixed laser beams again and removed Patty's corpse from Confession.
Repaired Jeanette scene blood condition and Giovanni backtracking.
All dialogue and python scripts streamlined, thanks to RobinHood70.

Thanks much for the patch, I do appreciate all your hard work and dedication to this game. You have truly made this game better as I know it's what you set out to do. Keep on truckin dude. You are a true Vampire and a Gentleman (unlike someone else we know who makes patches, meh).

The characters in Santa Monica are moving again. Just checked.

Forgive my english

I've been playing the game for some year's now and I would
like to ''upgrade'' the game with patches

Now, the question was: Do I have to instal ALL the patches in
their order. Like first 1.2 official, then 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, and so-on?

Or will I mis out on lots of alterations?
Or could I install 1 patch to rule them all? (Yeah, it's hot in Belgium )
Like the latest? Un-official one I mean?

You need only install the official 1.2 patch and then the latest unofficial patch on top which contains all previous patches.

When Jack wants me to fight against the lone Sabbat in the beginning

Ive tried resetting my controls but it doesnt work
Please help me

You probably don't have the fists, which is a random bug. Just start over and everything should work out!

Hi,

I seem to have come across an odd bug which isn't mentioned in any of the other posts. I've just completed the Santa Monica section and are now in the Downtown area exploring. Upon entering Skyline Apartments, the load screen appears briefly then crashes straight to the desktop. I've re-loaded a couple of times but each time the same thing happens. Has anyone else experience this and/or knows a way to fix it?

I'm currently using the offical 1.2 patch and the unoffical 6.0 patch.

Can anyone tell me where I can get the patches. The links you have provided here doesn't seem to work..

Try copying and pasting this into your web browser's address bar. Yes, your address bar needs to be open. I prefer either firefox or google chrome over IE. Stop using IE and you should be good. Don't get rid of it, just don't choose to use it.

When making a Malkavian with 7.6b installed, I could only select Malkavian-specific Histories, not general ones. Am I missing something?

No. In the Unofficial Patch I rebalanced the unfinished history system so that each clan gets the same number.

So the general ones (Blunt Fangs, etc.) are gone? No easy way to get them back in easily via console or something? Those were the ones that sounded the most intresting to me, though.

You can restore the original histories by deleting histories000.txt in vdata/system.
