I seem to be having some troubles getting the mage J'skar ravealed. And when i speak with Volarano all he says is I dont know you very well and goes on to tell me Jskar is invisible the res of the mages don't seem to help at all. Is this a glitch? Or am I missing something

This is a case where you need to get Volvanaro's Disposition up to 70, before he will make a deal with you to find J'skar. Do you have a Charm spell or Beguile scroll?

Another way to do this is to cast a Detect Life spell to help you find J'skar (he's downstairs), and then cast Dispel to remove his invisibility.

You could go either way, but you will need a Charm spell for other things, so I'd suggest getting one. And as soon as you have access to a spell altar, you can make a very powerful one.

or you could just play the little speechcraft game thing with him(volvanaro).

A little gold can also go a mile if you have a low speechcraft skill level.

But first do the persuasion mini-game to the end (till you can't increase his disposition any more). Then cast a charm spell. That should work.
