Leveled Lists ?

Need more education.

Downloaded a few more mods ... yeah, no big surprise there :)

One was a mod called ... "Hunting"
The only requirement was Better Bodies.

I read the .txt document and I see ..............>

Known issues
--------------------------------------
2) Contains new leveled lists, so of course use Horatio's excellent Leveled List Merger Tool.

The other known issues aren't relevant ... 1) don't cheat via console to get to the island ... 3) something about pop-ups that keep popping up

I also have MTT3 installed and believe leveled lists was mentioned ... I have not found anything really good, so I'm now wondering if it doesn't know what "level' I am because I'm not using a leveled list merger tool
This mod is a bit confusing in that the .txt doesn't really explain what all the goodies do and/or how to combine them ... but I'll figure that out through using them ?
Just thinking maybe the "leveled list" mod/tool is needed here as well.

Ok, have a few questions.............>
1) what are leveled list mods
2) since there wasn't a requirement, will those level list mods still work without a leveled list merger tool(... not sure what mods I have installed that may need this tool)
3) any pros and/or cons to using a leveled list merger tool
4) is it a simple mod ... still can't figure out the CS = assume that is considered a tool ?

I searched for Horatio's leveled list merger tool in the database.
Horatio's brought up the mod sticky, but I could not find it ?
I checked Mythic Mods link, but with all the associated links, was not sure where to check.
Not sure where to look for a "leveled list merger tool".

If Horatio's is a good tool, where can I find it.
If I can use another, can you link me to a good one.

When I see "merger" and "tool", I think potential problems :)
Anything I should be aware of. Or is a simple plugin.

Use it or do without it ?

Thanks.

The leveled list -mods basically edit the list of monsters which is used to determine how difficult the summoning monster or monsters are. Without merging tool, if you are using more than one mod which edits the leveled list, only the modifications from the mod loaded last will take effect. So, basically, you have mods A and B which both edit the list. You load them in order of A, B. Without merging tool only the modifications of B will take place.

So, I suggest using the merging tool if you want the effects of both mods to take place.

Here you can find one program, TESTool, which will do more as besides just merging level list.

Hey Joe.....
more mods.......

As Kipi mentioned Testool is a simple to use "tool". I've used it for the last year, before that I had a program called Wyremash, but is wasn't as simple to use, simple is always better in my book... :)

Kipi - ok :)
Really not sure what that all means = I just fight whatever they put in front of me

BlueSky - yep, check Planet Elder Scrolls each night before I play.
Still looking for a Daedric Armor mod for males ... found one for females
Don't want to kill the only person in the game who seems to have attainable Daedric Armor.

Looked at the reviews and while rated highly(HOF), some had issues/crashes etc ...
I'll download it, but hold off installing ... one person noted it messed things up so bad, he could not start a new game :(
I like the "just fix it" button ... but that caused big problems to one person
I shudder to think I'd have to re-install all my mods.

Thanks for the help.
