orogs in the cellars (catacombs)

there's this big bunch of orog marauders that doesn't attack in the cellar level. any thing special about them? or they're just there for killing?
Level 2 of the Catacombs?
There are 2 sets of Orogs that will ambush you near the Twirling Spire (the transportation spire). When you open a door.. a massive battle.
Displacement and confusion rocks.
