if u know why pls tell me and please pleease tell me how to get it to work
cuz i want to be able to host a game and have people join and they also want to join but they can't and if it helps i'm c1.5
and i also know some friends online on dungeon lords that can host va game and people are able to join and they all can do it with out being directly hooked up with a router so why am i not able to host a game that people can
join?

2 things is your cd-key valid

there was only 2 people in there that had v1.4 but they were playing to geather some one asked me to host a game and i did that without any
problemes but the other 7 people could not join nto even 1.


and how can u tell if ur cd number is valid?

if your playing lan it really shouldnt matter but going through gamespy ive had problems with it telling me i have an invalid cd-key

also try telling the others to check there ip adresses to see if they have them right if they dont that may also be the problem

ummm what does anybodys ip address have to do with playing through gamespy? just wondering cuz i do not entirely understand i mean i have no problem joining there hosts but they do with mine and yes my cd code is valide i'v never seen the message of it being invalide annnnd hmmm and do u know how i can maybe talk to the makers of this game about this to get more info or someone who is around that has something to do with the game? just wondering about that too cuz u seem like a very buisy person and i don't want to keep u for asking questions allday.

ok usually gamespy routes everyone to the same ip so no problem there but if they have problems with their cd-keys it may be a problem obviously you dont have the problem they do

the only reason you need to check ip adresses is if your connecting through lan that just means you connect manually the host having the ip and everyone else connecting to it

if theyre gonna play you may have to go through lan and give them your ip so they can actually connect to you and play along me i use xfire its more trustworthy than gamespy

so ur saying go into lan find out my ip adress and give it to them then go back to lan and try to play with them there?

and if they are haveing a probleme with there cd key they are no9t gonna have much success hmmm okey i'll brb maybe i need to find out something
but it might now be them no one at all that goes on there can join me very very very rarely they won't even see my hosted game so yea imma brb and try this and so far thnx for the info ur like a knolege base dude lmao no joke
