I'm in the Jungles of Chult (from Kuldahar) and want to enter the Yuan-ti Temple.

This is my second play-through. Last time I pretty much just annihilated the lot of them (I had a paladin with me then and couldn't use the robes).
However, I read that, if you sneak up on the priest Sashkta and listen in, you can overhear him give some phrases to his acolytes which will let you move through the temple unmolested.

That doesn't seem to work. My group is hiding behind some shrubs but the priest just keeps repeating a few sentences. I've even gone invisible and practically sat on his lap but no secret phrases.

Am I missing something?

You will need to know the responses, as they are little passwords. There's one other you need, which you can get by talking to someone in the temple (any acolyte, I think).

After the first time I did the password stuff, I decided I'd rather slaughter them all right away.
