When I talk to the blue dragon, I tell him I'm going to kill him, but when I try to attack, I can't do any damage; he's still "friendly". How do I attack in such a way as to render him an enemy?

I'm assuming that you mean the one who you can absorb the soul from.

You need to rightklilck on him en select attack form the menu.
