I patched the game and downloaded and unzipped into the vamp directory the 4.3 unofficial patch. My computer's a year and a half old, can very easily run the game.

So my problem is i've completed Calling Dr. Grout, but every time I run through the window to escape the game crashes to my desktop. I looked on the forums and the only thing I could find was someone changing their gender which somehow worked. I tried to change my gender from the command console, but the command doesn't seem to work. Nothing happens. I tried quitting and reloading after the gender change attempt and still male.

Suggestions?

Wesp, thanks for all the hard work on these awesome patches. Please don't ever think that the negative opinions of some of the more manner-less and volatile members of the planet vampire forums represent the majority of us. Those of us that are happy, are less likely to post.

An easier solution would be to not pick up the refrigerator key or if you do, use it!
