How do I finish this chapter 3 quest? SPOILER

I'm near the end of chapter 3, at the point where Triss says "Finish up any business you have in Vizima before proceeding." So I want to finish up, and the one quest I have remaining (that I know of) is that of the nurse in the temple quarter who says her grandmother has something in her cellar. So I went to Granny's house and killed the vampire, and my journal says "Return to the nurse to get your reward."
Problem is, the nurse is nowhere to be found. The map says she should be in the hospital. Makes sense, but she's never there. I tried going at dawn, midday, dusk, midnight. I slept for two hours and went there, no luck, slept for another two hours and checked again, kept doing this for about two days now, and she's never there.
This seems like some kind of glitch, and I don't know if there's anything anyone can tell me that will help, but I'm asking anyway. I assume it's not that big a reward anyway, but I don't like leaving things unfinished. Don't suppose anyone can remember if you get anything special out of it? I told her I'd do it for 50 orens (which annoyed me; I couldn't offer to help a crying woman for free?).
