Will it run?

I REALLY want to play Knights of the Old Republic on my old Mac, but I don't want to waste my money if the game runs poorly. I'm fine on the system requirements with the exception of CPU (I know, I know a biggie).
SR: (my system)
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.3.4 or later (10.3.9)
CPU: PowerPC G4/G5, 1GHz or faster (G4, 933 mhz)
Memory: 256 MB or higher (512 MB)
Hard Disk Space: 4.2GB free disk space (yes)
Video Card (ATI): Radeon 8500 (n/a)
Video Card (NVidia): GeForce2 MX (GeForce4 MX)
Video Memory (VRam): 32 MB or higher (64 MB)
Media Required: DVD Drive (yes)
Any thoughts?

hmmm , these are pretty decent , i dont see any reason why it wouldnt work?

I've read a lot of people having problems with choppiness and lag times even when their specs slightly exceed the minimum requirements. I just didn't want to buy a game that is painfully unplayable.

dont worry , you should be able to play it on those specs, they are quite decent

Cool! I will be getting a new one in a few months anyway, so if it runs really poorly the worst case scenario is that I have to wait yet a few more months to play it. I've had that Mac for almost 7 years now and I've never put a single dollar into repairing it or had any problems with it.
