Halls of Light - Foundry

Post by Bailin »

I am currently exploring the halls of Light and have just cleared the Foundry of bad guys, the two fire pits/lava pools activate the pointer if it crosses them, but I can't figure out if there is some way to make use of them. Can anyone help?

As far as I can remeber, the fire pits are for wielding weapons. Remeber the swords and shields you've been picking up, If you drop them into the pits, you can get an upgrade. Each pit takes different items. You will need 3 of each kind to wield a new one, from normal to +3. Right click over the pit to reveal which item they want and continue until they give you the new reined item.

OK, one is the Pyre of Shielding, throw in three regular shields and you get a special one. And the other one is the Pyre of Cleaving, throw in three common iron axes and get a Battleaxe +3. There are 3 shields on the walls in the room on the right, so you can throw those right in, but in the other room there are only two axes so you'll have to get one somewhere else(there are plenty scattered about). That should answer your question.

Another thing. The Pyre of Silence is located in Deep Halls. The 2 furnaces(fire pits) are locates at the Halls of Stone.
