Intellect

I decided to grab Dungeon Lords from below its pile of dust.
Now I'm wondering... Is intellect worth it? So far it's at 48, while I'm lvl 12. I haven't got the investment back. The reduction it offers to skills isn't worth those XP. Will this get better?
Maybe it's useful to tell my class: Fighter/Adept/Monk/Valkyrie/Shaolei-Master-to-be.
On a side note: Can you get more than 10 Heraldries? I got nine at the moment, but I'll probably get some more.
Thanks in advance!

It depends what race you are and how high you are going to raise your abilities.
For example arcane keeps getting better the more levels so 25 points in arcane is more power. But the 25th point is insanely expensive: Therefore spending more in intellect and reducing that cost as a percentage is effective....to a point 200 int would be too expensive! 100 is pushing it even for a female elf.
So 1) if you are going to buy insanely expensive skills you need insane intelligence....and its better sooner than later (except you need enough skills to kill and earn a faster RATE of xp/time)
In contrast if you are more a fighter raising your armor/weapons to 25 is useless since it has no benefit other than able to equip it. Therefore you need low intelligence. But if you are an elf you might raise it to a respectable amount since int is cheap. If say dwarf or Urgoth fighter you need little intelligence.
So 2) If you don't have insane expensive skills or you are an unintelligent race it is better to have low intelligence.

You can only have 10 Heraldries (some of the lesser ones will get removed automatically with the addition of a new heraldry past 10).
Intellect is NOT worth it past about 45 UNLESS..
IF you are trying to achieve a very high number in a skill where you have 2 or more learning bonuses.
Practically speaking this is ONLY for magic skills.
In your class combination you will have 3 Celestial learning bonuses and 3 Rune Magic learning bonuses (the highest possible for Rune Magic).
*IF* you want either your Celestial spells or Rune spells to be more powerful by increasing your skill level in either one, then..
Yes, Increasing Intellect can be worth it.
If you decide to do that then:
1. Shoot for a minimum of 100 without considering the "boons of the relics". Do this BEFORE #2.
2. Make a deal with Voratuus for intelligence for up to 20 points more.
The only real question here is:
Will there be a substantial benefit to increasing your magics power? Yes for Celestial spell lightening and Rune spell stone shards. (Marginally so for the Celestial summon spells and the rune protection/augmentation spells.)

She's a female human. I guess I'm going to pump Celestial & Rune to about 15 and Channel to 10.
So, is an intellect of about 50 enough?
Edit: I got a reply while posting, thanks!

More than enough.
